Transport Driver
The Transportation Driver is responsible for safely delivering our products to all our Distribution Centers in our territory. The Transportation Driver ensures we have quality materials, supplies, and finished product to support our customers’ needs.
Shift and Schedule:
This is a full time position with shifts below available:
1st shift: starting at 6:00am; working 8 - 12 hours based on business needs
2nd shift: starting at 2:00pm; working 8 - 12 hours based on business needs
3rd shift: starting at 6:00pm; working 8 - 12 hours based on business needs
Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays is required as scheduled.
Position Responsibilities
Perform daily routine vehicle inspection, report any mechanical issues and operate vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, complying with Department of Transportation (DOT) standards.
Ensure the food safety and quality of the product is protected during transportation.
Meet delivery schedule for Keurig Dr Pepper products and materials between assigned warehouses.
Maintain safety focus over hauls of varying duration (some up to 11 hours round trip).
Maintain DOT time log and other required transport documentation and/or have knowledge of electronic logs.
Reflect positive Company image by being safe and courteous when driving our equipment.
Proactively work to assist team members in achieving the organization’s objectives for safety, delivery, and productivity.
Maintain constant communication with the dispatch team and Transport Manager.
Generate productivity and continuous improvement ideas.
